Romantic Canoe tour with Martin
Dear Guests
My name is Martin. On the left my photo for you to place a face with the
name. I organise an adventurous Canoe trip in a Indian Canoe. This is a good
way to discover another part of the Algarve on the river.
The rivers Arade and Odelouca have water all year, however they are
influenced by the low and high tide of the sea. The trip is just as suitable
for children from about 6-8 years old as well as grown-ups, there are no
waterfalls or extreme currents during this trip. You will however have to
disembark when it is low tide to move the canoe forward, but this also will
enable you to stretch your legs and enjoy a cool drink.
Back in the canoe you will be able to admire the most beautiful birds you
would never be able to see in the UK and occasionally you will see a turtle
creeping up to enjoy the sun on the riverbank. Going up and downstream
schools of fish will accompany us along our journey.

Please bring sun protection, plastic shoes or shoes you do not mind
getting wet or dirty, and of course your good mood is very important to
us!
Please let us know if you require a life vest ,cool box or waterproof camera
cover as we are able to provide them.
