This farmhouse (Quinta) was built more than one hundred years ago and completely renovated in the beginning of 2006. The house is suitable for 4 persons.
There is an antique oven where the lady of the house baked her own bread, on the floor you will find the handmade terracotta tiles, which are still made in the village. Of course you can visit the small factory as well.
The farm is situated in the countryside near a little river. You can even swim there untill the month of June. Although you can enjoy the quite and calm of this rural area, you will find the nearest village at 4 km distance and the airport is only 30 minutes away.
A very typical portuguese restaurant nearby, will not disappoint you. Seated on the terrace, you enjoy a splendid view over the hills and the ocean. Even the spanish border is within sight.
Ideal for nature lovers and people who appreciate peace and quiet.
The quinta consists of an living/dining room with woodburner and a handmade open kitchen with oven, microwave etc.
There are 2 bedrooms:The Red Bedroom has two single beds, a door opening onto the terrace in front of the house, a wooden floor and electric heating.
The Blue Bedroom has a double bed en direct access to the patio terrace behind the house, a wooden floor, electric heating.
There is a rustic bathroom with modern comfort: big shower, wash basin, toilet and washing machine
In front of the house (south) you can enjoy the sunshine and the view, while seated on the bench. In the back there is a patio (north) with lots of shade for the warm summer months.
Before you sit down at breakfast, you can pick some oranges in the garden for your fresh juice! There are orangetrees, tangerines, prunes and grapes.
